Dave signed off on the wireframes so I’ve been working on some concepts and ideas for the layout. I based most of the ideas on the logo that he uses – it’s good for brand recognition in my opinion.
I came up with three in the end, and we settled on a combination of the first two ideas. My next task is to get the design coded up into something that WordPress can work with.
I’m both nervous and excited about working with WordPress. It’s going to be challenging because my experience with WordPress themes is very limited. My only previous experience in WordPress never stretched as far as making an actual theme, only using the options available in existing themes. Oh well, Google will help me out ;-).
